Nine Elms Osteopathy

About osteopathy

​As an osteopath I use manual therapy to make changes to your joints and muscles and allow your body to heal without the use of drugs.  

Patients come to me for pain relief or with mobility issues from a wide range of circumstances, including gym or sports  injuries, the wear and tear or osteoarthritis associated with old age and help dealing with patterns of compensation built up as a result of long-standing imbalances.

As well as the treatment directly affecting joint mobility and muscle tension, osteopaths can affect the circulation to many tissues including the nerves, and as such we treat patients with a wide range of conditions beside the neck and back pain, with which we are normally associated, these include:

joint pain and lumbago, sciatica, neuralgia, muscle spasms, headaches, tennis elbow, shoulder pain, wrist and ankle dysfunction, tension

My practice

​I work from 2 practices in central south London at Vauxhall & Oval, they are within about a 15 minute walk of each other.  I can usually fit you in the same or following day at one of my clinics.

I have appointments available from 7am and also into the evening, as well as some Saturday mornings and I accept payment by card.

Southbank Club

Southbank Club is handy for Vauxhall and Nine Elms as well as on major bus routes to Clapham Junction and beyond.  The room here is spacious and and Southbank Club is a welcoming and pleasant environment, whether you are a member or not.  When  you arrive just come in and ask for me (Damian) at reception.

Walking, rail or underground
From Vauxhall interchange walk through the length of the bus station.  Cross the Vauxhall gyratory at the pedestrian crossing and turn right and then take the first left, alongside the Cap Gemini building, this is Wandsworth Road.  Walk down here approximately 1/2 mile and Southbank Gym is on your right, just past the new Sainsbury development.  0.7 miles

From Stockwell  tube turn left then immediately left again down Binfield Road.  Turn left at the end into Lansdown Way and walk to the end.  Turn Right into Wandsworth Road and Southbank Club is about 200 yards on your left.  0.7 miles
